When a furnace that's been running for 30 years finally gives out, there's no patching it. At that age, the heat exchanger is worn, efficiency is gone, and repair costs stop making sense. The only real move is a full replacement - and that's exactly what we did here.

We pulled the old failed unit and installed a new 2-stage American Standard furnace. The reason 2-stage matters is simple: instead of running at full blast every time it kicks on, the system operates at a lower stage most of the time. That means more even heat throughout the home, less temperature swinging, and lower energy bills. It only ramps up to full capacity when conditions actually call for it.

We also upgraded the filtration setup on this install. Better filtration isn't just about air quality - though that's a real benefit - it also protects the new equipment from dust and debris buildup that shortens the life of a system over time. It's one of those things that pays for itself.

A furnace replacement sounds like a big deal, and honestly, it doesn't have to be stressful. We handle everything from pulling the old unit to getting the new system dialed in and running correctly. Clean install, no loose ends.

If your furnace is getting up there in age or already showing signs of trouble, it's worth having a conversation before you're dealing with a no-heat situation. We've been through enough of these installs to make the process straightforward for homeowners.
